January 23, 2020 - Here are photos of the Harbormaster Launch that 4 of us guys built a couple of years ago. The hull is 3/4 Mahogany strips on white oak frames covered with 6 oz glass inside and out. We added a 20hp Mercury outboard in a motor well aft and a table down the center forward. The canopy can be raised and lowered by parts from a camper that does the same with its roof. We added two 6" x 18" rudders in the aft outboard corners of the motor box for directional stability as well as steering when the motor is not thrusting. We also discovered that the motor box cover needs to be raised if the motor is idling as the motor box can fill with exhaust and the motor dies. We added a 110 volt converter battery in the bow to provide 110v power for a microwave that is aft on top of the motor box. We used the boat from June to September to provide a free lunch cruise on our lake for anyone who had the time. We spent most of the mornings for 3 years to complete the project and have had a great time! Thanks for the plans--most everything went as hoped.

November 2019 - Altered plans to have a rounded stern. The boat is powered with an 8 hp electric motor which reaches 8 knots and holds a charge for about 8-9 hrs.

Really Nice Job Richard. People will think that it is a vintage Elco.
What are you using for propulsion?

Great job on a beautiful boat. I like the addition of the outboard motor well. Is this on the plans, or did the builder design it?
