Born in Argentina 9-6-46, where I live to this day, in a coastal town called Mar del Plata.
We started working on our Lord Nelson project some time around 1998...even some time earlier. I live in a coastal town called Mar del Plata in Argentina We worked together with my son, although other helpers would volunteer at diferent stages. It's interesting to see how people get enthusiastic with these crazy ideas. We sailed our boat called Joan II for the first time last summer in 2019, but then had to spend another year moored due to engine trouble. So on January 2nd 2020 we were able to set sail again. At last we can say that our project has been completed, although a boat this size is always work in progress. We have to finish interiors...adjust rigging etc but we can say that at last we are able to enjoy her.
