Lord Nelson Design

At long last we were able to set to sea with our Lord Nelson project. She is named Joan II, and we have been able to sail twice, first with good weather, and a day later with harder conditions. She sailed nicely, although we still have to learn how to use our rigging properly.

July 2013 I made one modification in the original design. I offset the companionway to starboard in order to allow a queen size berth next to the companionway. After I haul, I'll send more photos of her cruising in Bahamian waters, which I do every year.
