i started out making the the squirt as a jet boat,but the cost was to rich for my blood,but my squirt can fit a 650 kaw,motor,so we redid the transom and put a 7.5 mercon it.the blue cables you see are home made control cables.we couldn’t find any,so we made our own set up,”works great” when we launched it it went right to plane,she felt really solid and stable.it’s a great boat to build,i’m a retired railroader not a carpenter,and we put this together, .moving on to the tug a long.the plans from glen l are great and easy to use, danny zapp
